The Story Behind Sam Ovens’s Success

When Sam Ovens was growing up in New Zealand, his idea of success was like most people’s: working for a good company.

But after learning how much an entrepreneur can earn, he changed his mind. He took a shot at entrepreneurship.

His first two companies failed. The worst part was that it left him with a $30,000 debt.

So to clear that up, he started creating websites and selling them to businesses. While doing that, he had his first successful business, SnapInspect.

Wanting to expand this business, Sam continued to create and sell websites on the side to fund the SnapInspect app.

But that side business soon turned into a digital marketing consultancy. And now, Sam Oven aims to teach people things that qualify them to start their own businesses.

He sold SnapInspect and used the money for his new business. Now he’s teaching people how to become consultants and build their own consulting business, just like he did.

This rags-to-riches story was what got him so much fame online.

Sam Ovens is now focused on his consulting business. It has solid backing because of his many clients’ and students’ testimonies.

Now, you may point out here that many scams have also had “testimonies”. That’s true, but they don’t usually have as many as Sam does.

There are a lot of people confirming that Sam helped them with their businesses. Many of them are even verified entrepreneurs.

So how did Sam help these people grow their businesses?

Although Sam has many other courses, Consulting Accelerator is the most well-known.

The Consulting Accelerator is a 6-week course geared towards people looking to start or improve a profitable consulting business. It aims to show them everything they need to know about it.

Consulting Accelerator has some powerful testimony backing it:

Sam Ovens’s mission is to teach people how to teach themselves. And that’s what he aims to do with the Consulting.com website.

In the Consulting website, you can go to three pages: Courses, Reviews, and Resources.

If you’re interested in applying for his courses, they’re all compiled on this website. You can find their syllabi there, along with an explanation of the methodology that Sam uses in all his courses. Specifically, you’ll see information about his attempt to correct flaws in the current educational system.

Basically, Sam wants to introduce a more effective way of teaching. His method of education is very different from formal education in a number of ways:

  • Environment — Consulting.com has an active community, Q&A’s, and personal mentorship for each course. That way, students won’t feel the overwhelming pressure present in many universities. In addition, the presence of fellow entrepreneurs encourages students by offering inspiration as well as peer assistance.
  • Creativity — Sam Ovens promotes creativity by letting his students do things their own way. Compare this to the one-size-fits-all approach in traditional education.
  • Mentality — Formal education tends to teach students that thinking logically is the best way to learn, but Sam Ovens believes that focusing on mindset and psychology matters more. So he tries to remove the delusions and improve the cognition of his students and clients.
  • Application — Most of the time, the knowledge that you learn gets wasted. That’s why Sam encourages everyone that he teaches to instantly apply it in the real world.

  • Consulting Accelerator – I’ve already mentioned this one. It’s a 6-week course meant for people trying to build a six-figure-income business from scratch. This is essentially Sam’s beginner course. As such, no previous knowledge or business knowhow is required.
  • Uplevel Consulting – This is Sam’s mid-level course. It’s a 9-week program meant for those who already have established businesses but want to scale it up. It focuses on business scaling, team optimization, and business efficiency and organization.
  • Quantum Mastermind – This is Sam’s expert and most expensive course. It’s meant for business owners who already have an established and successful business who now want to dominate their market.

You can find some reviews of Sam’s courses on this website too. They’re in video format and offer testimonies from successful students who applied Sam’s principles to get to where they are.

At present, there are 3,526 satisfied customer reviews on the site. That number is still growing.

One is by using the things that you’ve learned to start or expand your business.

The other business opportunity you’ll get from Sam is by recruiting people to be his students as an affiliate.

But before we go into more detail about these business opportunities, can you actually make money through Sam’s offerings?

Sam Is a Scam — Not True!

Going back to the main question of this Sam Ovens review, is Sam a scam?

After reading this Sam Ovens review, you can decide that for yourself. There are people who won’t find much value in Sam’s consulting — and ones who will.

Speaking personally, I don’t think Sam Ovens is a scam. I think he’s actually the real deal.

After all, from what I’ve seen, many people are doing very well after learning from him.

But there are also former students of his who didn’t earn back what they invested in his courses. That’s probably the reason they’re bashing him.

But what I noticed about these people is that when they started to promote Sam (as affiliates) or even their own consulting services (as startups), they used one of the most unproductive strategies you can use.

They promoted almost exclusively offline or through word of mouth.

When they did market online, they just spent most of their time spamming platforms like Facebook to try to get sales.

That’s a problem because those are HUGE mistakes. Online marketing should be a given for any business right now, but most especially one that’s either promoting or offering consulting.

In fact, ask successful people in the consulting industry for their secret and they’ll tell you one thing: “Have

your own blog!”

That might sound like a difficult task, but it’s actually pretty simple. In fact, you only have to follow 4 steps to get started on that the smart way!

4 Stages of Starting Your Consulting Business, the Right Way!

1) Having Your Own Blog

Setting up a blog is the first step every successful online marketer takes to get started.

If you don’t have any prior experience here, it’s natural to assume that it’s a lot of work

But trust me, it’s not.

Setting up a blog is super-easy nowadays. In some cases, it can even be “effortless” considering that there are companies that can do it for you!

Now this step is often neglected or skipped by many salespeople, mostly because they simply want to start selling ASAP.

Don’t do the same thing. Your priority should be to build your email list first.
