As for myself, I also have a lot of experience in SEO. Having been here in the industry for quite a while, I’m also one of the many who followed Moz’s SEO strategies closely.

However, the key here, based on my personal experience, is to try to mix it up. Don’t just stick to keywords with high search volume.

1) Content

We all know that “content is king”. Content is the most important part of your website.

When using the keywords, it’s best that you group them first based on similar topics and intent.

When creating your content, don’t fall into the trap of focusing too much on ranking high on search engines. Instead, your content should provide value and solutions to online searchers.

2) Header Tags

Header tags are HTML elements that designate page headings.

The main header tag is referred to as H1, which is typically reserved for the title of the page. It’s followed by subheadings that go from Heading 2 (H2) to Heading 6 (H6).

The subsequent headings are new sub-topics. These sub-topics should be relevant to your main topic.

Along with your alt text, you should also come up with a good alt text description.

Your content should be readable. In order to improve the readability of your content, you might want to avoid tiny fonts. Google recommends 16-point font and above.

You should also break up your content using headings. As much as possible, have bullet points and paragraph breaks.

If it’s applicable, add media as well to make it even more interesting.
