This is where LinkedIn recommendations and endorsements come in. You can ask your connections to write a recommendation of your products or services that you can display on your profile.

Your best referrals will come from your happy and satisfied customers. Rather than wait for them to give you a recommendation, you can request it. Just use the “Request a Recommendation” option in their profiles.

  • Navigate to your customers’ profile.
  • Click the “More” icon in the top section of the profile.
  • Select “Request a recommendation”.
  • Fill out the Relationship and Position at the Time fields of the recommendations pop-up window, then click Next.
  • Include a personalized message in the message field then Send.
