Posting content regularly will make your page relevant to your niche, and that gives your audience a reason to revisit your page.  Aside from that, here are other reasons why you should post content.

  • To inform your audience,
  • To improve rank in Google,
  • To earn links from other sites,
  • To earn conversions, and
  • To establish yourself as an authority.

You can post different content on LinkedIn. It could be details about job hiring, company news, or informative blogs. Your content should be useful to your target audience.

To make an effective LinkedIn content strategy, you need to set your business goals first. Doing this will help you determine how you can use LinkedIn to achieve your business goals.

It’s the best platform to use especially if your business goals include the following:

  • Promoting your brand,
  • Generating leads and sales for your business, and
  • Increasing brand awareness.

After figuring out the goals you need to achieve, the next thing to do is to know who would be your audience.

Posting a content that’s made specifically for your target audience can give you more engagement. You need to make sure that your content will capture the attention of your audience.

Studying your audience helps you produce content that’s relevant for them. Here are some questions that can help you understand your audience.

  • Who are they?
  • Where are they from?
  • What is their industry?
  • What are their needs and interests? and
  • What are their problems?

You can get the answers to those questions using the analytics for your Company Page.

Aside from that, you can also conduct interviews with your actual customers to know their interests.

Plan Your LinkedIn Content

Now that you know who your audience, the next thing you need to do is to plan your content.

You can’t just post random content to your audience. Your content should be relevant to your business and useful or informative to your audience. Doing this helps you establish your authority to your niche.

I recommend posting training webinars, whitepaper, and industry studies. Also, you need to give your audience a variety.

Consider posting different types of content such as:       

  • Blog posts,
  • Videos,
  • Images,
  • LinkedIn Pulse articles, or
  • Slides.

Posting a variety of content will increase your chances of success. However, to guarantee its effectiveness, you need to post it at the right time.

When’s the Right Time to Post content?

LinkedIn users are usually most active in their free time. And since most LinkedIn users have 9-to-5 jobs, they check their LinkedIn before and after work.

So, consider posting before 8 am and after 5 pm. But don’t automatically assume that this time will work effectively. Its effectiveness depends on the type of your business and its audience.

Try different days and times in posting content to see when you can get more engagement. Once you already figured out when is the best time to post content, consider scheduling it.

Learn to Wait and Don’t Rush Things

Finally, your LinkedIn content strategy will work effectively if you learn to wait. Don’t rush or force things because no one achieves success overnight.

Patience is a key to succeed in the world of content marketing.

Also, stay active even if you do not have the results that you’re expecting. It’s important to interact with your community to gain more buzz in your niche.
